Post Graduate Diploma Civil Ceremonies
After a long career in counselling in the field of family planning it was a natural progression for me to become a civil celebrant and share in the many milestones of my clients’ lives: birth, death, marriage, to name the most significant.
On completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Ceremonies at Monash University in 1999, I honed my skills in funerals, namings, commitment ceremonies and renewal of vows.
Since then I have continued to facilitate a wide range of services and I like to make each ceremony unique and tailored to the personal needs of the client:
I deem it a privilege to honour the life of a person in a FUNERAL or MEMORIAL service and do my very best to make sure that the service reflects that life honestly, sometimes with humour, but always with dignity and respect.
And of course it is always an honour to welcome a new life into the world in a NAMING CEREMONY. It is particularly satisfying to be conducting the naming ceremonies for couples I have previously married.
My aim is to be the family celebrant and to be there for all the major milestones in the lives of my clients.
